Most modern Youth Center for Galabovo

The fully renovated Youth Center – the most modern sports and recreational facility in the Stara Zagora region – took over 18 months to complete and an investment of 2,2 million euro, sponsored by AES Bulgaria.

The Center is located in an area spanning over 45 acres in the Park of Galabovo. The rehabilitation project included a complete renovation of the existing building, as well as construction of new facilities for sports and recreation. The enhancement and landscaping of the surrounding area transformed the facility into a beautiful park. Now, the Youth Center holds a large sports hall, rooms for traditional dances and rhythmic gymnastics, a computer hall, indoor and outdoor fitness facilities, a playground and a covered outdoor concert stage.

The project reflects the largest public-private partnership in the region and is a major part AES Bulgaria’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program, which has invested more than 6.8 million euros in the Galabovo area.
