AES Bulgaria employees donate warm clothes and shoes to 236 children for Christmas

A total of 236 children from Galabovo received gifts as part of the volunteer initiative, ‘The Angels’ Tree,’ organized by AES Bulgaria. For the fifteenth consecutive year, on the eve of Christmas, the holiest Christian holiday, the company and its employees donated warm clothes and shoes to local children. The total value of the gifts amounted to BGN 14,000, with AES Bulgaria employees contributing BGN 5,670. A celebration was also held for the children, who are students at the three schools in Galabovo and the school in the Obruchishte village, at the Youth Center in Galabovo.
‘Caring for the well-being of the communities where AES operates is part of the company’s philosophy. Over the years, AES Bulgaria's donations to charitable initiatives and socially significant causes in the Galabovo and Kavarna regions have exceeded BGN 15 million,’ said Mariana Gerenova, Complex Manager of AES Bulgaria.
