AES Bulgaria sponsor extra preparatory classes for the students in Galabovo

AES Bulgaria contributes to the educational system in Galabovo Municipality schools by sponsoring extra preparatory classes for all students who are subject to external evaluation. Following its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program AES Bulgaria supports offering additional teaching lessons in order to help Galabovo students with their preparation for the mandatory year-end exams after 4th, 7th and 12th grade.

This initiative started in November 2015 in coordination with Galabovo Municipality. It will provide extra preparatory lessons throughout the whole school year 2015/2016. The classes will take place in all schools in Galabovo Municipality and will be conducted two times per week. 18 teachers from the regular classes will tutor 250 local students additional 3 hours every week.

This initiative is related to one of the main focuses of AES Bulgaria CSR program – contribution to the educational system in order to improve people’s lives and make a lasting difference in the communities in which our business operates.
