AES employees celebrated the “Earth Day” by cleaning the town of Galabovo

More than 30 employees of AES Bulgaria joined in the cleaning campaign of the Haidushkoto kladenche area, which is a popular destination for hiking and recreation in the town of Galabovo. The campaign,  devoted on the “Earth Day”, was a joint initiative with the Galabovo municipality, which hosted the event. The participation in it was voluntary and brought together employees’s efforts from different companies in the region.

We are committed to a wide range of social, economic and environmental initiatives aiming to improve the lives of the communities where we operate. This is the foundation of our mission and values ​​. By participating in today’s campaign we would like to surpass the one-day effect, setting a good example to each of us to be even more committed to the environmental protection, said Olivier Marquette, Managing Director of AES Bulgaria.
