AES Galabovo gifted joy to the Galabovo children on June 1st occasion

Lead by desire to make the International Children’s Day unforgettable for Galabovo’s children, TPP “AES Galabovo” organized special celebrations for the youngest with lots of games and dances. The joyful holiday in the region, held for seventh consequent year, was attended by more than 350 children from 2 kindergartens and 4 schools.

The beginning of the festivities was initiated by Mariyan Tomov, Communications specialist in AES Bulgaria. He welcomed the children and wished them health, to be curious and always eager to learn about the surrounding world. Puppy and dove training, school for magicians, art workshop, face painting were provided for the children’s entertainment. The youngest showed their dancing skills at the most cheerful children’s songs, played by DJ.

The initiative is part of the CSR program of AES Bulgaria with total investments so far of approximately EUR 3.3 million. Main accents in the program are infrastructure, education and child care. The current AES project is the construction of Youth center in Galabovo with total investment costs of EUR 2.2 million. It is expected to be fully operational in 2017 and will provide a public park and facilities for cultural events.
