AES' TPP in Galabovo with RoSPA Gold Award

AES' TPP in Galabovo has been awarded RoSPA Gold Award for health and safety performance during the period of January 01, 2021 to December 31, 2021. Safety is one of AES’s core values and always comes first.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is a British charity that aims to save lives and prevent life-changing injuries which occur as a result of accidents. RoSPA Awards are one of the most prestigious and recognized schemes in the world with almost 2,000 entries every year, nearly 50 countries, and a reach of over 7 million employees.

The RoSPA Gold Award is another recognition for the very high level of performance of AES' TPP in Galabovo, for its well-developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk, and very low levels of error, harm, and loss.

“At AES, we always put safety first, and it is one of our core values. The safety and health of our employees are our main priority in everything we do”, Mariana Gerenova, Complex Manager of AES Bulgaria stressed.

This is the second safety award for AES Bulgaria within a month. Only two weeks ago, AES Maritza and St. Nikola Wind Farm have been distinguished with the International Safety Awards 2022, given by the highly esteemed British Safety Council.
