Children from Galabovo receive gifts from TPP AES Galabovo for Christmas

194 children from Galabovo were supported by the Angels’ Tree initiative, organized by TPP AES Galabovo. For twelfth year in a row, on the eve of the Christmas holidays, the company and its employees gave the kids warm clothes and shoes. The children are students in the three schools of Galabovo, as well as in the school in the village of Obruchishte. Due to the COVID pandemic, there was no event this year for all the children to receive their presents, but they were distributed separately to avoid overcrowding.

'It is a great pleasure and pride for me that for the twelfth consecutive year the employees of TPP AES Galabovo show their empathy for the needs of the children and donate funds to finance the campaign. I believe that thanks to the funds that each of our employees has set aside for the purchase of shoes and clothes, the needy children in Galabovo will have a warmer and happier Christmas,' said Mariana Gerenova, Complex Manager for all production assets of AES Bulgaria.

‘Caring for the communities in which we work is one of the priorities of our Corporate Social Responsibility program. In recent years, the funds allocated by AES Bulgaria for various projects of public importance amount to nearly BGN 15 million,’ noted Ivan Tzankov, Managing Director of AES Bulgaria.
