TPP AES GALABOVO AND TPP CONTOURGLOBAL MARITSA EAST 3 DONATE BGN 27 000 TO THE PENSIONERS OF GALABOVO FOR EASTER

The two companies support the Easter initiative of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Bulgaria, Maya Manolova

TPP AES Galabovo and TPP ContourGlobal Maritsa East 3 will provide more than BGN 27 000 to pensioners for the Easter holidays. For yet another year, both companies have supported the Ombudsman’s initiative for Easter „Donate a Holiday for Grandmother and Grandfather“. Donations will be used to support all retired people in the town of Galabovo with a monthly income of over BGN 348, i.e. who will not receive Easter allowances from the state. The elderly in Galabovo meeting these criteria will get vouchers for BGN 20 along with their pensions for May.

Funds are provided under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs of TPP ContourGlobal Maritsa East 3 and TPP AES Galabovo. This is another socially significant investment in the region, made by the two companies.

The total amount invested by AES Bulgaria in various CSR projects in favor of the communities where the company operates amounts to nearly BGN 14.5 million. ContourGlobal Maritsa East 3’s investments in improving the life of the local community exceed BGN 9 million.
